On Wednesday Team17 released their new title Worms™ Ultimate Mayhem for XBOX and PC (Steam). We already posted a lot of screenshots, trailers and interviews about this game.
Due to the support of Team17 we are able to give out three Steam codes which grant you access to a Worms Ultimate Mayhem free download for PC.

Why do I love to play Worms? Because I love to BLOW SHIT UP! Oh, and occasionally prod a worm off the side of a cliff.
Mostly because I literally grew up with Worms games. Just kidding, it’s just so nostalgic for me, because when i got my first computer (after a commodore 64 of course); a Pentium 200 MMX PC, it was one of the first three games i played actually. I was in middle school. Now I am a 27 year-old Mechanical Engineer, and still get the same taste of those days. My son loves watching me play Worms.. One day we will play together
I love the Worms series! My first encounter with it was with Worms Armageddon, back when I had my first PC in 1998-1999. I could only play the demo, however I’ve played it over and over again with my friends. Funniest game series ever!
I love the series mainly because, well, it´s worm warfare. The games have lots of exciting and unique weapons. Sure, they all go boom, but It´s not the end of the trip that counts. The humour in the games is superb too. During a match, be it 3d or 2d, alot of exciting and funny things happens. I also like worms because of its strategic gameplay, to become good at the game, you would have to think and plan many steps ahead, which isn´t too easy, because you don´t always know what´ll happen. I´m also very excited about the things the community can do with the game, create rules and new gamemodes and suych, they are really fun.
Well when I was just a kid my father had installed a few games onto the computer, I wasn’t sure what any of it was at the time. I randomly started up worms thinking, huh I wonder what this could be about? And boy was I surprised. I must have spent day after day of playing worms, I loved it so much. Then I found out it was only a demo. So I asked my dad if we could get the full game, we ventured down to London drugs and there I found worms along with a lot of other games like jazz the jack rabbit. Worms really started my gaming hobby and I am 21 years old now but I still play worms too this day. And it will always have a special place in my heart. Go worms!
Who would have thought these disgusting grubs which live in the dirt would have such loveable character? Essentially, that’s why I love worms!
I have been playing Works since the Amiga 600 days! I loved it then and love it now! Why? Random landscapes, Worms and most importantly – exploding SHEEP!
I love the worms games. The multiplayer is awesome. and the Ferret Weapon rules!

It was a very simple game but I really loved it.
Worms, WOrms 2, Worms Armageddon, Worms World Party… I really love all the games. Very funny with all the weapons, online, missions… really incredible. I enjoy a lot playing all the games. And since last year, Worms Reloaded.

Hi love it, because I am addicted to it since I played the first demo of the first Worms for Amiga, which was given on the cover disk (diskette, not CD!
) of the print magazine “Amiga Games”.
It was the first and only 3 minute demo I played every single day for months, until I could afford the full version as a pupil.
I really like worms graphics style, funny speech banks, and a lot of customizations for worm
I loved playing Worms World Party as a kid. From using the homing missile to dropping a donkey statue. Then armageddon to nuclear warfare. It was an intense game, especially when you’re playing with a few friends. Oh I forgot, SUPER SHEEP!
Oh man, I have been playing Worms since forever. I just love playing it with my friends. How do I describe why I love Worms? Simply the idea of a bunch of worms gathering together to blow each other up is hilarious by itself.

The reason I love Worms is because I love all the chaos and all the different weapons. Worms is the most fun when playing against friends, cuz you can own them with homemade weapons.
Why do I love to play Worms: Because you get to lay explosives at the feet of your friends and blow them away!
Why I love playing WORMS? Because like a worm virus, you can’t stop it. I can’t stop playing it!!!
I was 4 when I first played Worms. Used to love sheep back then still do. That’s the main reason why I love playng Worms.

The most fun i ever had in a video game was in Worms : Armageddon when i was a kid ^^ Sweet memories…Im sure the new one is just as good, and i would love to try it out !
I love to play worms because I love the mix of, having fun due to the comic worms, the creative you can be and the tactics. Also, it’s perfect to play against other mates.
Well, Worms 2 was (one) of the first PC games I’ve played and it’s nice to see a series prevail for such a long time and never loose it’s appeal. Each new Worms brings back all those memories of the good times I had with games. Oh and because it’s FUN!

I always loved the cynism of the game and will love it in the future, Give me some worms (warmth :> ) and cast a smile on my face seeing tiny creatures throwing bombs, wielding a massive amount of weapons, destroy the landscape, or.. er.. what the sky ~ which is why you should by that kind of game. uhuh.. yeah.. the sky is beautiful…

I started playing this game at the age of 11 . Nothing like hearing those cute little worms killing each other with a random sheep or release a donkey on top of their heads. Lol. I come home after a hard day at work. Nothing naming my manager a worm and blasting her to pieces! It just feels so good. Worms is such a great game. You need to think before killing your boss cos you might get a smack by a baseball bat on her next move.
I play worms because It is so much better than Call of Duty. Why get chopper gunners when you can poke worms off a cliff that you created with a holy hand grenade?
Call of duty… SUCK! Battlefield… SUCK! worms is a much better game, why? because it’s funny, is for intelligent, in call of duty just run and shoot, in worms is better you need be intelligent and think you will do, I LOVE WORMS because because no one wins in style. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORMS!!!
I played Worms World Party for first time when I was 5
, that was the first one I played. Later I played Worms 3D, and I thought it was an aweosme game. I loved to play multiplayer. In 2010 I bought Worms Reloded..it’s good, but I think it could be better. My favorite has been Worms 4 Mayhem, but with this one, I think this is the my real favorite!! The point is, Worms makes me remeber a lot of things and ever it’s fun to play it.
I love Worms because they are just so cute and it is a fun game at the same time!
I love the funny voices of the worms. They always make me laugh.
I love playing worms because it relies on player skill while at the same time being very relaxing to play.
Despite the fact that you’re blowing your opponents up with grenades and shooting them with bazookas, it is very light hearted and colourful which is a refreshing change from the brown and bloom shooters that dominate todays market.
But perhaps most of all the series has character, it avoids being a series about generic space marines and relying on gaming cliches and instead creates something that is entirely unique and a complete different experience to anything that’s currently out there.

Because I’ve been playing worms ever since I got it on the Gameboy Color many years ago, and have been a fan ever since! Most importantly though is I love making my friends bow down to my superior skill (and more humorously named Worms!)
I have always been a fun of the Worms series. Worms remind me of the happy gaming moments when I was a bit younger.
it’s really, really, really fun. it’s the only computer game that makes me smile from the start to the end. that’s why i love and i am playing worms.

I remember the first time I played worms many years ago. My friends and family was instantly hooked. I never played such an uncanny and fun game. My friends used to carry our pc’s to each others house for lan parties We would usually play games like medal of honor and diablo. Then one day I brought worms and we played it together all day.. We would talk about matches for days after. The funny comments and the humor when the worms died or launched an attack made us sometimes laugh so hard we cried. We spent hours mastering our secret strategies and tricks. Now my children love to play worms too. It’s a game that age cannot touch bringing back found memories of more simple times and creating new ones. Even the casual gamers in the family loves worms! The first time I showed my son how to use the rocket launcher, my daughter to sheep someone to death,or my wife got her first kill only to be blown into the water by my death are priceless memories that let us all laugh and groan together. Money has been very tight with 3 kids to buy for Christmas and things being slower then usual but I would love to have one of the free copies of this new worms for me and the family. The new graphics and style is something I would love to see. It would give us all something to smile about this year +)
Well, i love Worms, because it’s damn fun to onw your friends with unrealistic weapons and the style of the game is very fun, too. I’m a fan of the series, and liked armageddon most. Quite interested how the new Worms has gotten, because i’m quite sceptic to worms games in 3d.
I just love worms. They are original, funny, fun and lovely.. Adorable and good to pass time. That is why I love in basic.
