It’s done: Today Team17 released their new title Worms™ Ultimate Mayhem. The game is now purchasable on XBLA and Steam. You are still unsure and don’t know if you would like the game? You are now able to download the demo version for free and play some rounds.

Interview with John Dennis about the company

Besides the upcoming game releases John Dennis – Head of Design at Team17 Software Ltd – found time and gave an interview which consists of questions about the company Team17. Dennis talks about a lof of interesting things you haven’t read yet:

What inspired the creation of the company?

Team17 was started by a group of young Amiga developers who believed they could make better games for the Amiga than were out there at the time. As it turned out, they could.

Can you start us off by giving us an overview of what Worms: Ultimate Mayhem is?

Hi, of course, Worms Ultimate Mayhem, for us, is the definitive 3D Worms game. The game is a “best of” compilation of the very best content from both Worms 3D and Worms 4: Mayhem, so it’s got loads of the weapons, tons of the customization options plus a selection of new ones, making for well over 100 individual customization elements in total, and it has 60 single player missions from games both as well, making it a just massive game.

Release date, new comedy trailer and screenshots published

Some of you know that the next upcoming 3D title will be Worms™ Ultimate Mayhem. Today Team17 announced the game will be released on Wednesday, 28th September 2011 for PC and XBOX. Last named version will be available for 1200 points. Unfortunately the Playstation 3 version will follow later this year. New video trailer and screenshots published

A lof of Worms fans are looking forward to the new title Worms Crazy Golf which was announced several weeks ago. The first impressions were very promising. Yesterday Team17 published more screenshots and a new video trailer in order to get more impressions of the game. First of all here is the new trailer which shows one of the golf courses:
